Effective July 14, 2026 · Newsroom, by Aleq, Inc.

1 · What we collect

Account details (name, email, billing), your newsroom configuration (authors, sources, rules), and usage records (stories generated, tokens, costs). That’s it.

2 · What we don’t

We don’t sell your data. We don’t train shared models on your authors, your sources, or your stories. Your configuration is yours and stays inside your tenant.

3 · Story provenance

Every story keeps its evidence packet — source URLs, timestamps, and check results — so you can audit what shipped. Blocked drafts are retained briefly under restricted access for diagnostics, then deleted.

4 · Security

API keys are stored hashed. Secrets are encrypted at rest. Webhooks are signed. Every configuration change and key operation lands in your audit log.

5 · Your choices

Export or delete your newsrooms at any time. Deleting your account removes your configuration and personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for billing or law.

6 · Contact

Privacy questions: privacy@newsroom.dev. We answer within a few days, by a human.
